A year ago I put in a big bore kit 95", S&S 510G cam, modified the CV carb and SE flat top pistons in my 01 FLHT.I recently had my heads ported and polished along with bigger valves etc done. Both jobs were done professionally, one by a HD dealer and the later buy a well known custom shop. When I had the latter shop dyno tune my bike they indicated 85hp and 102tq. I had a chance at another HD dealer to run a dyno test (three weeks later) for free and the numbers were 75hp and 84.46tq.

Why would there be such a discrepancy on the two tests? Conditions, humidity were almost exactly the same.  The HD dealer is now recommending I go with a S&S 585 cam and domed pistons to get more power.

I am getting burned by someone?
