HELLO I JUST BOUGHT A 2007 SPORTSTER 1200 CUSTOM,
I NEED TO CHECK THE SPARK PLUG GAP AND I WONDER JUST WHAT THAT IS???

Spark plug gapping: The center electrode (dark rod) is a cylindrical rod, and the top ground electrode (a hook) has square edges. When regapping, the hook is raised or lowered to adjust the gap, often .035-.050. The gapping tools are inexpensive and can be found at any auto store like Auto Zone or Checkers, im sure Wal-Mart even has them.
